Sheila Sitalsing claimde in haar column in de Volkskrant dat, wie volhoudt dat 2G geen fundamentele ingreep in de grondrechten is, liegt. Maar klopt dit wel?

Thierry Baudet twijfelt ten onrechte aan oversterftecijfers CBS
In een post op zijn Instagramaccount beweert Thierry Baudet dat de cijfers van het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) over oversterfte in 2020 niet kloppen. Hij stelt dat het CBS zijn cijfers over het aantal extra doden als gevolg van coronacrisis alleen baseert op 2019: ‘een jaar van ondersterfte’, zoals hij zegt. Hij voegt er ook aan toe dat er dus geen enkele reden is om 17 miljoen mensen een jaar lang ´op te sluiten´. Maar klopt het wel wat Baudet beweert?
Juist: hoogste huurstijging in 6 jaar tijd, vooral in Rotterdam en Den Haag.
Lillian Marijnissen, voorvrouw van de SP, meldde in het eerste lijsttrekkersdebat dat in 2020 de hoogste huurstijging in zes jaar tijd plaatsvond. Klopt dat?

Als beginnend journalist en fact-checkster kreeg ik, binnen het honoursproject over de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen, de opdracht om uit debatten claims van politici te halen die ik mogelijk zou kunnen fact-checken. Dat bleek ingewikkelder dan ik dacht.

Five years ago i saw an Instagrampost with a url to Vrijwillig Werldwijd, an organisation that orginise trips all over the wold. This particully Instagram was about volluntering in Tanzania and Zanzibar, together with 19 others. I was intersted to i started reading more about Tanzania. I stared to tell my parents that i was interesed in vollunteering in Tanzania (at that time i just turned 16). First my parents thouged that i was not serious and thats it just was a tamparary idea, but it wasn’t!

In the first national election debate, broadcasted by RTL4, leaders of political parties in the Netherlands were asked to take a stance on several important issues. One of the statements, about climate change was: “In order to achieve the climate goals the Netherlands must build new nuclear power plants”. Conservative parties such as the VVD (liberal party), the PVV (nationalist party) and the CDA (Christian democrats) voted in favor. The progressive parties voted agents the statement. When asked to explain their view GroenLinks (green party) leader Jesse Klaver claimed that nuclear energy, as a solution for fossil energy, is the biggest lie in this election. He also claimed that nuclear energy will not help achieve the climate goals from the Paris treaty.
